sisters - authors of Active Living Zoomers

‘Active Living Zoomers’ is a journey of growing.  Growing in age, wisdom, good health and self-discovery.  Here you will find all kinds of information on health, food, nutrition, travel, style, finances, family, spirituality, and how it all fits in with aging gracefully with a positive outlook.

We are Susan and Denise, sisters who come from very different perspectives.  Check out more about us here.  You will hear from the two of us, some of our family, friends and the occasional expert too.

We hope you will keep coming back and be sure to make a comment!

  1. I found your blog through a maze of other blogs as I was looking for pictures. I took one of yours, (I think) but I also am liking your blog. If I have erred in taking something I should not have, please let me know and I shall take it down. I do a blog on aging, since I am old!

    • Thanks for reaching out. Happy to meet another fellow blogger! Great blog! Love how diverse we older bloggers can be. Please feel free to use our pictures anytime. All we ask is that you give credit and a link to us at the bottom of the post the pictures are used in. Looking forward to reading more of your posts. Cheers!! Denise and Susan

  2. Hi Susan and Denise,

I just came across you site as a result of my 79 year-old Mom asking me today what “zoomer” means. I gave her a definition that was close to yours (giving myself the proverbial pat), but wanted to confirm it. So naturally I googled and here I am. This a refreshing place to be, I’m sure I’ll be back!

    Best to you both,

    Lee

    • Thanks so much Lee! We love hearing from our readers. I see you wrote this at 2:15 a.m. Glad to see we aren’t the only ones on the web that late at night!
Thanks for reading and we love comments!

    • Thank you so much, Dr. Demko! What a better way to start the new year then with a compliment from the man who started the ‘Zoomer’ lifestyle himself!! Best wishes for 2014.

  3. I happened on your blog and I find it very poetic. What’s more it’s so nice to meet people of your age all over the world. (you look quite young but I’m 48!)

    • So you are obviously very young as well! I am 53 and my sister is 46. Still lots of life left in all of us I think!
Thank you for your comments. I hope that you will continue to check in with us and provide your comments.

      Cheers.
      Sue
